for you i wrote from my heart
for your eyes i let it all pour out
a gift from me to you
you could have asked me when things were said
but you gave away my words instead
to the wrong person
unforgivable

Very emotive write d a.
Yes, and a very disappointing occasion it relates to.
A bit of an emotion tugger - hope your dry period gets wet soon.
Still dry, digging up oldies. Emotional tugs are something single poets experience profoundly i guess.
A sensitive write dusk.
Thats just the kind of rock 'n roll guy i am i suppose.
It happens & it hurts like hell, so they tell me...... unforgivable maybe, but nevertheless enjoyed, if ya get my drift..... Neville
All a part of lifes rich tapestry which makes us poets the thing we are..
absolutely.........................
What we think is ours
It seldom is
Breakups leave one, in
pain, instead of bliss
Glad it was in the past
Hmm, i never try to posess but something personal given from the heart is, one hopes, to be treated as personal.
Long ago now and just another scratch on the armour.
