Slither Moon.

Goldfinch60

I look up into the night sky,

The slither of moon looks down.

I look at it and wonder,

Wonder if the love it shines on us

Increases as it grows in size.

  • ANGELA & BRIAN

GOOD MORNING UNCLE ANDY : Love Beethovens Moonlight one of the most played peices on Classic FM which I have on my bedside radio : when Im in the UK ! Its one of the few classical pieces I can play correctly on Piano because it is so so beautifully slow ! Thanks for your gentle Poem and the concept ! The influence that Sister Moon has on our Love Life is both Mystery & History. My senses are heightend this week because on Saturday (after eight months) BRIAN & I will be TOGETHER AGAIN (see Todays Poem !) AMEN !
Blessings & Joy to you BOTH
Its 8pm Sunday Evening here so I have enjoyed PALM SUNDAY
Much Love to you BOTH : ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

Thank you Angela, there is certainly something intriguing about the moon.

I don't agree with any spooky or 'magnetic' influences, that the moon may have on us. But maybe it's some picture of how life is, sometimes anyway, as it 'waxes and wanes' as a hymn says.
It goes in a cycle - smaller, gradually to a new moon (shown as black dot in diaries, etc), then enlarges to full moon (shown as white circle), and so on again and again.

Nothing 'spooky' about the moon, it is real, we should know when we stood there as Armstrong climbed out of the Apollo cart and we greeted him. Didn't he climb back in so fast, took him another two hours to come down and make his speech.

Ahh yes, we were there. Did we meet E.T. too?

As we age and wisdom plays a sweeter tune, the word 'love' expands to encompass so much more than we ever imagined. Love teaches love.
