what need in me for kisses?
no heart for love to flame
a rusted nail suspends a memory
no picture,
empty frame.

That memory sounds special.
a memory that devastated the desire for anymore loving was my intention to convey here.
a most moving little miniature my friend and true..... Neville
thanks Neville... 'less is more'
tis...
Very emotive this read of few lines my friend. Love all the phrasing so into my favourites with this little gem.
I wanted to show a long lost desire for love after a bad experience in the distant past with this. I have always thought that short pieces are more powerful and was pleased with this one. So i am really happy to see you enjoyed and i am honoured that you chose to add to your favs.
A fine write dusk.
Thank you Mr O.
A real delight - in fact a real beauty.
That night it seemed the skies bled
for that bloke in the little old shed (in the picture)
so a well placed bowl
beneath the roof's hole
was a good move, thought crafty old Ted
Nicely done, rolls of the tongue!
Thanks Dan. I will keep digging up old treasures whilst i'm in this dry period.
A haunting image, and just like the kisses, it too needs a loving hand
Love conquers all. Even mends broken hearts if you let it.
