THE EGOTIST

Michael Edwards

THE EGOTIST

(1)

He is far more interested in himself

than ever he is in me.

(2)

He frowned and then he scratched his head

‘I’m my own man’  he muttered

and then he went off to check his bread

to see which side it was buttered.

    Two very true verses Michael.

Yet another one of your intriguingly interesting artworks.

When I painted it this was way up intended. When framed I reversed it and prefer it that way,. Thanks Andy.

      • Michael Edwards

It did and she got quite crusty about it.

Love that picture. Both pieces today describe me so well. I'm giving out too many clues on here.

                (1) repeated a billion times every day
                (2) our state of mind every day

Very interesting, I'm still scratching my head

Brilliantly done, each time I reread it there was a different train of thought then I found my self immersed with the picture!

                Ha!
