LIVING IN A DREAM

Michael Edwards

Observed  with closed eyes

Basking in covert sunlight

Living  in a dream.

You saw it in your mind, before the brush dipped into the first color.
        A beautiful composition

I am doing more and more of these large works - someone is coming round to collect one as we speak. Thank you Suresh for your continued support.

Good write and pic Michael. I thought you was writing about me, and my attempts to sing, with that title - otherwise known as Cloud Cuckoo Land?!

Is that where Fido comes from? Cheers O.

            Michael,

The color scheme of your painting could not have been better...
            to enable the voyeur to...
            ‘live in a dream’!
            Remarkable!

It's a sun lite fjord and evening is coming on and I love the picture even with my eyes closed.

              • Michael Edwards

Ah that's beautiful - thanks Lorna.

Super shortie today. I transposed the first two lines as soon as i read it. My mind plays games with words as you would expect.

                Amazing picture too.

And make it a 755 and why not - I get obsessed with the haiku format. Thanks so much dusk.

Love your dream-scape. Is that actually you standing there?
With "closed eyes" to see "sunlight" is truly a "dream." Well said. _ Phil A.

                  • Michael Edwards

Thanks Phil - yes it could be me although it wasn't intentional. That's dreams for you!
