Evening of Our Great Content

Lorna

The slant of the late day sun

Shadows over the garden walls

Stripes the creatures foraging

Their evening nuts and seeds

Dapples greenery with soft light

Sets off bursts of twinkle

As it skims the bird bath

Kisses us

Then dances off to join the night

Isn't it nice that we all share the sun, the twilights and the moon! They have seen every single soul ever put on the earth - always amazes me that Cleopatra and Anthony stood watching the same moon as me.

                    yeah, and me...

The dusk, in my opinion, is a very romantic time of the day, and the evening shadows are very different to the rising sun.
There is a certain romance you have displayed here.
