Hey! come here

Poetic Dan

Want something to do?

Let's take a trip, seeing the world's zoo

Just me and you
Or the whole crew

We'll Adventure down to the sea, where seagulls scavenge everything

Walk along the soggy sand, thrilled by all the tiny crabs

Captivated with the other birds, showing us what they've heard

Coming from within the lands, among trees and ants

Horses standing eating grass, or aesthetically galloping pass

Grounded by the buzz of the bees, completed by grasshoppers symphony

Then if we're lucky we'll see it go by, the unmistakable butterfly

That started of not as we see, surviving many treaters feats

Now exploring from a new point of view, forgetting all it ever knew

Unlike the fox that comes to visit us, looking for an easy lunch

This place has many wondrous things to see, reflecting over it all with nice cup of tea

If it's sunny we'll stay outside, watching the dog watch a snail go by..

Thanks for joining me

See you again
Soon

  • Comment from author about the poem: I've been writing alot at the moment and they coming just as I'm about to go to sleep. This started off because I was thinking of some of the things my knew little one has come here to see. Like I said in my last poem I could not thank you all enough for sharing your precious time with me. Much peace and respect

Lovely sunny reading. Fun to read to children and talk about afterwards - that fox's easy lunch.

Yes, the big one's enjoyed. Even got told it was sick! I said I hope it helps him feel better, apparently I don't get it. lol

Hope you enjoy the rest of the sun, I'm off to the beach and maybe have a splash but more than likely touch the sea and say its to freezing!
