tip-toeing (re-written)

dusk arising

above the
tortured remains
of yester-days
the sun rose slowly

there was
something beautiful
tip-toeing
through the wreckage

All in the mind. The mind - an organ of moods.

Great write d a, and what a way to start the day, a fabulous piece by Weather Report.

          • dusk arising

Thank you Goldfinch. The weather report piece is my all time fav of theirs ... a jazz blues balad with a lot of mood and feeling. There are many live recordings of it by several bands including Joe Zawinals (composer) own group. The incredible Jaco Pastorious lyrical fretless basslines shine through too.
