The LORD He is my portion sure
My inheritance evermore
You uphold me. LORD, me maintain
Your gracious presence I do gain
The lines are fallen unto me
In pleasant places, look and see
A goodly heritage have I
This be the truth, I not deny
I will bless the LORD, He counsel
Has given me, and I fare well
My reins, conscience, do instruct me
In night seasons when it dark be
I have set the LORD before me
Always, my constant company
He at my right hand, I shall not
Be moved, so be my happy lot
My heart is glad, tongue rejoices
My flesh shall rest in hope, sure this
For you will not, LORD, leave my soul
In hell, but will deliver all
Neither will you your Holy One
Allow to see corruption, Son
Of God is He, and prophecy
Of resurrection here this be
You will show me the path of life
And lead me on it with no strife

- Comment from author about the poem: A hymn-poem in 8.8.8.8. metre, to a tune on my list only recently. With Easter theme, part of the Psalm gives hope of resurrection, though this is quite rare for Old Testament days. Some had inklings of it, and a few verses here and there speak or prophesy of it.

Thanks for sharing UNCLE STEVE ! I (BRIAN) love the Hymn & the video ! I love WATERFALLS and have done several hairy waterfall climbs (up & dowm) Angela says I must not do anymore until after the wedding !

NZ is noted for its extreme sports ~ Bungee Jumping ~ Canyoning ~ Para Gliding etc but they are VERBOTEN as well !
