WILD.

Fay Slimm.

Wild.

Wild the love
wert thou with me.

Wild the nights
of luxury.

Wild the bliss
slept I with thee.

Wild the cries
of ecstasy.

Wild the joy
wouldst fate agree.

                          My Dear Fay,

I very much enjoyed reading this wonderful write! I love the painting! The first time you posted this painting, it fascinated me! Seeing it again, has had the same effect it had the first time! I think she’s quietly provoking her thinking...thinking of what she should write on that blank page...or perhaps she is reading what she was provoked to write on that page which is no longer blank!
I wonder if that painting inspired you to write your sensuous poem!

                          Excellent!

                          ~Laura~

Hello and thank you dear Laura - I wrote the piece quite a while back and brought it to light again only recently - I thought though the picture enhanced the mood of my poem - she certainly does look like she has written an intimate and sensuous few lines of longing. Am so pleased you liked both the painting and poetry . An honour too that you have saved this piece into your favourites and thank you again......... from Fay
