The line is drawn in sand
but laden winds obscure the view
The way to go I’ll never know
I’ll be my own philosopher

I will cross that line
and clear the view
to find the way
to your words of wisdom.
The way is there for us all - it is up to us to find it. Thanks Andy.
Like the artwork, it must look wonderful in real life.
Yes it's quite a statement piece.
As are we all when we think things thru. Lest we choose to be fallen leaves blown wherever a chance breeze would deposit.
Conjures up thoughts of floating on the breeze - not such a bad idea.
No idea what I'm talking about but what the heck...
Physician heal thyself
What's the poetic equivelent I wonder
Great write Michael

LOVE ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡🧡
Love the Poignancy of the Poem !
I'm always sketching - nothing complicated - just thumbnails. Thanks for your kind comments as always dear Angela.
The art is filled with so many possibilities; If I envision things moving left, it's a supersonic jet moving through a clouded sky, and if things move to the right I see a body floating just below the surface of the ocean, and now I,m afraid to turn the image. A moving piece.
I think we all are our own philosophers, choosing our own paths through life. Lines are for timid folk. Why are lines always drawn in sand? Can they not be drawn on concrete with chalk, or on highways to keep us timid folk in lanes. I prefer the lines you draw on canvas. Nuff said. - Phil A.
That's what I love about abstract art - it's up to the viewer to reach an interpretation that is unique to him (or her) . Thanks so much Phil - just don't draw lines in treacle or a sticky end will come quicker than anticipated. .
There's a whole world hidden in such art,
Just as in the mind of a philosopher
You hold the key to both of them
