Tine: Cloisters
('Lord of our life, and God of our salvation')
********
Psalm 25 v.5
Lead me in your truth, O LORD, and do teach me
You are the God of my salvation, I see
On you I wait all the day, come to help me
You my LORD e'er be
Psalm 25 v.6-7
Remember not my sins nor my transgression
Where I did stray and fall into temptations
But do remember mercies, loving kindness
Turn to me, me bless
Psalm 26 v.2
Examine me, O LORD, and prove me, test me
My mind, heart, conscience, they true set on you be
For your loving kindness is before my sight
And your truth my light
Psalm 26 v.11-12
Redeem me, LORD, and be to me merciful
Guard and protect where surrounded by evil
My soul be, but in you I shall stand firm sure
And bless you e'ermore
Psalm 27 v.4
One thing I have of the LORD desired, I will
Seek after it, that I may dwell, abide still
In the LORD's house all my life, and to behold
His beauty all told
Psalm 27 v.4-5
And I will there enquire within His temple
In times of trouble He shall hide me, I call
Upon Him, He shall help me, on a rock set
Safe here, no regret

Thanks B&A.
I thought the way you work consecutively through the psalms was well done...... N
Thanks N. There's a (cunning?) plan to this. The Psalms seem to be grouped together in themes. Well, it is the Old Testament 'hymn book', and hymn books are arranged by themes. The key is to spot where the themes change - bit like the weather can sometimes change after a few days in a row.
Nice one O.
Thanks M. Sing them berles moderately fast, in strict time. Oooh, strict singing now!
Good one Orchi, the Psalms are worth reading.
Thanks Gold.
