🧡 ANGELA & BRIAN🧡 SOUTH ISLAND SAGA🧡
Flying down from AUCKLAND : CHRISTCHURCH is a dream
Very welcoming City : everything pristine
Then on to DUNEDIN : A very Scottish City
Men in Kilts (commando ?) : All the Girls so Pretty !
We covered ground to MILFORD SOUND : Waterfalls & Dolphin
All afloat on a lovely boat : much more fun than Golfin*
Next we went to QUEENSTOWN : Worthy of her name
Took a ride on the Cable Glide : not Bungee Jumping ? Shame !
We took a look at Old Mount Cook : It really was excitin*
Covered in SNOW and all aglow : with Thunder & with Lightnin*
Next port of call the GLACIERS : Franz Josef & the Fox
I hired a Helicopter : to fly outside the Box !
Our tour was almost over : we*d soon be out to grass
So we finished high : three thousand feet : in Uncle Arthur*s Pass !

THESE EIGHT DAYS with BRIAN in S Island NZ have been
the *best week* in my life ! Not only was it completely
different from N Island : High Snow Capped Mountains :
Huge Lakes : Fjords & Glaciers with real Snowball Snow !
BUT the best part was just BRIAN & I : snug as two bugs
in a rug ! In the Blue VW VAN ! Living in close proximity
with BRIAN for eight days : convinced ME : more than ever
that Our Love was made in Heaven ! BRIAN thinks so too !
I wish He could have stayed in NZ (working in the UNI or
the Hospital Path Lab). But I do know He is returning for
Me in OCTOBER (2019) to take me Home to Essex UK !
To be with HIM for ever : AMEN : Love : ANGELA🧡 BRIAN !

Thanks UNCLE MICHAEL : Pleased you enjoyed the summary ! To some extent reliving it in RHYME brought a smile to my face and compensated (to some extent) for BRIANS return to Essex ! We really enjoyed our time together and because we are both busy : OCTOBER is metaphorically just around the corner !

Thanks ANGEL for a perfect *Sonnet of Doublets* to summerise our TOUR of S Isalnd NZ ! As you know I have landed safe and at Church this morning they were all eager to have a report so I said a few words as to how blest we had been with the weather (apart from Mt Cook) and an accident free trip ! Thanks for choosing the VW ~ very reliable Camper Van. I have pinned a copy of your Poem on the notice Board ~ The Scots were amused by the reference to COMMANDO ! I like the concept of the Helicopter *Flying outside the Box* It sure gve me a view I shall never ever forget. Your tribute to me made me both Blush & Cry at the same time ~ but I am glad you added that *BRIAN thinks so too* We really are a match made in HEAVEN. There is a nice comment from Uncle Mike but I'll leave you to answer that when you wake up ! It seems strange without you to make me laugh & smile but we will both be preoccupied with our WORK tomorrow ~ You in your small Corner ~ and 11,500 miles away ~ I in mine ! Es esta la VIDA !

Thanks FAY : I suppose RHYME does lift a POEM and makes it much more recitable ! Performance POETS like PAM AYRES always use lots of RHYME ! For me rhyming couplets are the easiest form and have a great rhythm when recited ! Pleased you enjoyed both the Style & the Subject !

I thought I met a Fido today - a loud bark but smallish dog.
Thanks UNCLE STEVE : Fido is a great censor ! For some SCOTS *Commando* is de rigeur when wearing a KILT it is imortalised in the Carry On Film *Up the KHYBER !* Pleased you enjoyed the TRIP even if it sent FIDO BARKING ! He must be an embarassment if ever you go Window Shopping in Amsterdam !

Thanks for your support UNCLE ANDY ! YES BRIAN & I are very relaxed in each others company : we have a lot in common and we are the best of Friends ! Eight days in a Camper Van either makes or breaks a Friendship. We were quite tired at the end of each day so we slept well ! I love the idea of being with BRIAN for INFINITY : AMEN
