Mix Ups #27

I said to the old Laughing Lady... “I don’t understand, the churches synagogues and mosques are full, the world is full of good people and yet, full of hate”

The old Laughing Lady said to me... “It is easier to say the right things, than to do the right things”

People goto churches etc because it appears to be the right thing to do. They are not anymore good people than those staying away.
In fact, those running the churches are not good people, would you say the rich man who gets the poor to pay for his new roof is a good man? Well the churches are very wealthy organisations especially the RC church.... look it up on google.

Yes, this is like our sermon/talk from yesterday. Jesus points to what He did - what He said is also equally valid. But many say one thing and do another.

And it's scary that religion often gives people "cover" to do their worst.

Hahaha, brilliant done I could really picture that old lady.
Action will always be louder than words, it's how animals talk and its at the start but yet we have forgotten and think a voice is all we have!

      Well penned, good sir 😉

Thanks for saluratory tale ! The GOOD BOOK exhorts us to be not just HEARERS of the WORD (SERMONS) but to be DOERS of the WORD also ! That is *Practice what we Preach* I (BRIAN) know hundreds of Christians in my Community who do just that ! They care for the Homeless and Rejected ~ YMCA ~ Night Shelter ~ Soup Run ~ SOS BUS ~ R S Bus (8 bed spaces etc) for ROUGH SLEEPERS ~ Church halls Open in Winter for Rough Sleepers etc etc. Our LOCAL MP said if you took the Church out of the TOWN it would be a much SADDER PLACE. OK there are bad eggs in every box. Its so so easy to find fault with the Church and overlook its Power for Good Worldwide ! I never hear anybody criticising The SALVATION ARMY !

      Blessings & Peace & Love
