Sally Am Jam

Andrew Charles Forrest

Sally Am Jam

Stood on their watchtower in search of the lowly

“Don’t drink that son or you’ll surely go blind”

Exemption? Redemption? they sure bring it slowly

And often their words of support are unkind

If we pooled our resources, we could sure do it better?

But they are much purer and it has to be seen

Polish their brass, follow temperance to the letter

Do good when in uniform so to tell us they are clean

  • ANGELA & BRIAN

GOOD MORNING ANDREW ! THANKS FOR THE TRIBUTE ! The Salvation Army rush in where often other *ANGELS* fear to TREAD ! They are not Judgemental ~ their ACTIONS speak much louder than words. Their magazine (in SPAIN) is called GRITA DE LA GUERRA ~ WAR CRY ~ They are Soldiers of the Cross against SATAN & EVIL in the World. It takes COURAGE to wear the UNIFORM and BOLDLY GO ....... ! Salvationists I have met are all Humble (except for their BRASS BANDS which bring a touch of NORTHERN BRASSHNESS to Essex Boys & Girls !). Thanks for carin* & sharin* !

    Blessings & Joy & Love & Peace
    Yours ANGELA & BRIAN 🧡🧡🧡🧡

There are so many that do their jobs daily
    Un/under appreciated, spoken of rarely.
