Tune: Day of Rest
('O day of rest and gladness')
Micah 4 v.1-5

In the last days it shall be
The mount of the LORD, see
Mount of His house established
Shall be so, He has wished
Atop the mountains it shall be
And exalted greatly
Above the hills, people they
Shall flow to it freely
Many nations shall come, say
Let us go e'en this day
To the LORD's mount, His house there
his teachings He will share
With us, we will walk in His ways
Through continuous days
For from mount Zion proceeds
His law with no impedes
He shall judge many people
Rebuke strong nations all
They shall beat swords to ploughshares
Be free of anxious cares
Shall beat spears to pruning-hooks* (* or pruning-knives)
No more with hostile looks
Nation against nation not lift
Sword, but peace be their gift
Neither shall they learn to war
Any more, it be sure
They shall sit under their vine
And fig tree, idylls fine
For none shall make them afraid
On the LORD they be stayed
And He shall bring this, His word
Spoken, it has been heard
For all people will walk*, each (*live)
In their gods names, and teach
Of ways, paths, idolatry
That they believe to be
The truth, but as for us we will
Walk in the LORD's name still
The LORD our God for ever
This our firm endeavour

WOW UNCLE STEVE : ANGELA HERE : Such sweet OPTIMISM in the Sweet Bye & Bye when we shall be TOGETHER for ever with the LORD. I will look out for YOU (SAINT STEPHEN !) in the Celestial Poetry Group when i arrive in 2088 or thereabouts ! The Hymn in Karyoke Style is BEAUTIFUL and the POEM based on MICAH just what I need (its nearl 10pm Thursday here) after slaving an a warm AQUATHERAPY POOL all day (we do get paid for it !)

I'm not to challenge your belief, but why do we have to wait for the LORD to come again. What does HE/SHE need to say that has not been already told and known to us.
We have already steered away from all the teachings, and nothing in us, humans, says that we won't do it again and again - it is written in our DNA.
If the believers, believe, then let them walk the righteous path now and already do the LORDs bidding.
