A rhyme is a rhyme

Poetic Dan

Some say anyone can make a rhyme, but it takes the poet to make them mean something.

Although if every word has a meaning and every meaning brings up feelings

I think all they're doing, is showing what needs healing

As I heard what you feel on the outside, is who you are in the inside

A rhyme is a rhythm
No matter how big or small
To put meaning into it
That parts up to you!

      Thank you Poetic Dan.

      A good write.

You have captured the essence of a poem and what makes a poet a poet.

      Keep writing

I still don't know what that is but if it means crying and laughing at ourselves, I'm in!

        Always appreciated
        Thank you kindly

That is one lovely video. The lovely long haired German Shepherd is clearly a poet and loves to recite. The ball thing too is cleary his/her muse.

To me, content takes precedent over rhyme everytime. Rhyming simply limits the applicable words available to the poet.
However i do enjoy using rhyme for fun in lighthearted pieces.

My friend he sings louder than I would like, but I'll glad he never got sent back to rescue shelter in Bulgaria or had to be muzzled!

Yes, I still have to tell myself it doesn't have to but good if it does.
Thanks for the rhyme about Brandon the German Shepherd

          We appreciate your time

Spot on - as an artist can see inspiration in something others dismiss so a poet can chose words that others wouldn't be able to put together.

All in the eye of the beholder, always appreciated from your perspective

              Bang on Dan
              It's like making eggs
we can all put eggs in a pan
but make it something we want to eat
              That's an omelet

              • Poetic Dan

A poets brush is their pen, and their expressions the paint.

Poets write from the heart and the soul, as do you Dan.
