The Gnome knows

Poetic Dan

I've got a little Gnome that nobody knows

Down in my garden where nobody goes

It ponders by a pond that is not there
Waiting for the moment, time disappears

Watching the ripples, of notion in motion
Knowing everything leaves when open

Upon each return, more splashing occurs
It just changes shape saying three words

Sit and observe

A real gem of a write PD - you've triggered an idea for one of my own.

Now that will keep me smiling for days, glad to give back as I still quote one of yours to people about a Penguin that got told don't try dangerous things at home, so it didn't and went round a mates!

Probably miss worded it but gets a giggle every time 😉

This should of been more fun but my brain took it another way lol

I feel quite flattered to be quoted 0 gee thanks PD
The one I have in mind is not funny in the way that the one you quote is but one to smile at if I can word it correctly - about Gnome Enid and not yet written.

I used to have a gnome but he buggered off after some swine pinched his fishing rod.
He was always complaining anyway because he never had any luck with birds. "They just shit on me every time" he said.

          • Poetic Dan

Ha ha, you must have one for everything.

Maybe sometimes that's all we can be, I'm sure he found a place where everyone is rod free, with all the birds just pecking he's cheek.

Pmsl, that was a great pun. I reckon they are there but dissappear when in never, any questions I ask it just repeats the same thing. Waiting for me to go so they can all start raving!

Ha now I\'ve got more to go on, cheers my dears 😉

              Always appreciated

Your words and your pic really invoke a million thoughts.
Isn't it amazing when words freely flow, and that's poetry.
                So well written,

Yes I wanted to use it for many others but looks like I was just waiting for the right one.

Yes it's strange how easy it can just enter, thank you the support.
I laugh at the thought of my teacher hearing something I wrote was classed as, well written.

                  Always appreciated
