Tune: Laudes Domini
('When morning gilds the skies')
*********
Let us sure watch and pray
And unto the Lord say
Take all our sins away
Lead us sure to repent
Forgive us, penitent
Trusting your Son you sent
So living in the light
Empowered by your might
And pleasing in your sight
Your Spirit, come, us fill
To know, do, your good will
You present with us still
Saved and redeemed we sing
To you our heavenly King
And you our thanks we bring
Help us to grateful be
And all your blessings see
Reaching e'en unto me
Putting faith in your Son
The work he now has done
Salvation for each one
Who will in Him believe
And in Him life receive
The truth with no deceive
Give us melodies new
To offer unto you
And praises, old songs too
Each now their gifts employ
Voices, instruments, joy
In hope none can destroy
Continue your love here
To us, and do appear
With grace and mercy near
A welcome awaits all
Who by faith on you call
They shall stand and not fall
