LUSH.

Fay Slimm.

Lush.

Deep lush of bunched purple winds in trust
around mother-vine.
Lustrous with sun-ripening fragrance fruit
tumbles stalks entwined.

Small orbs of pure amethyst shoulder each
other for sun's eye.
Rich globes of velvet hang bloated in juice
yet rush toward prime.

What blush on faces for gain of front seats
at maturing time.
Tho' swollen in wait grape-harvest clusters
know "must makes best wine"

You're so well aquainted with vinyards Fay. Now they do say that the vine benefits from acts of love amidst its trains. What secrets are missing from your fine words today, your hints of orbs and globes, blushes and 'swollen in wait' ..... oh such wine to sate ones thirst.
Such things will lead to a full-bodied Cornish delight, well rounded with more than a hint of fruitiness.

  • ANGELA & BRIAN

Ahhhh FAY ! ANGELA HERE. *Wine which gladdens the Heart of Man & liberates the Heart of WOMAN !* And it all begins with GRAPES a very seansupous FRUIT ! *Orbs of pure AMETHYST and *Globes of VELVET* ! As you know my PAPA is a VINTNER and an Importer of RIOJA into the UK and an EXPORTER all over the WORLD ! He is visiting ME in Auckland next week (with MAMA) and he has already sent several cases of RIOJA by sea which I have stored in BOND @ the Docks Customns Warehouse. He is visiting some Vineyards in North island and conducting Tastings with local cheeses etc. I have acted as His Agent ~ thats one role Daughters can play for their Parents ~ Oiling the Wheels ! KIWIS like RIOJA and it complements the flavour of Lamb especially the Rose ! The wines my PAPA will demonstrate in NZ will cost (retail) about £(GB) 10 to 25 ~ with a discount of 25% for a case of SIX BOTTLES. It holds its own favourably with NZ Wines which are almost as expensive in NZ as they are in the UK. Like RIOJA they are always of high quality ~ so export of European Wines to NZ requires a lot of Diplomacy ~ PAPA is very Charming ! BRIAN & I both loved your Excellent Mouth Watering Picture & Sumptuous Poem in favour of the GRAPE ~ AMEN ! BRIAN wanted me to post the comment !

    Blessings & Peace & Love
Yours as always ~ ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡🧡

    Wonderful write Fay.
I do hope it is the tempranillo grape to produce my Rioja.
