New Direction.

Goldfinch60

Along the path I travel,

The way ahead is clear,

I see the final corner,

The end is very near.

I walk around the corner,

Fulfilment in my mind,

The path that I had followed,

Was not what I should find.

The path was blocked in this life,

A new path to be found,

My life’s direction will change,

New glories WILL abound.

A fine write Gold. I tend to go on the same paths - for millions of years, it seems. Pity I took a wrong path in 1066.

I think we all end up on different paths - the way ahead is only conjecture but we should embrace it - when there is nothing to look forward to life is at an end. Did you come across a fork?lol

Always admire your positivity leaping out through your words.

In the twilight of ones time, we wonder about the path taken. I had written in "It Feels Like...." how much longer must we endure.
Your ending stanza is so astute, that's our hope.
    Thnx

What a fine and hopeful write Andy - - keep looking for new ways ahead and they will appear.
