SELFNESS.

Fay Slimm.

SELFNESS.

Blooms, resting in selfness duly distil
authentic truthfulness  only by being
what they wholly are. Flora can bring
from its self-hood intensity, while we
trying to be much to many feel faces
growing lopsided by denial of serene
inner-control which conceding erases
by suppression yet we will be thrilled
at the peace felt within if like a flower
we unearth hidden quiet and let shine
beautify the core with personal power.
Resorting to calm means a re-defining
of motive and perfuming with love our
intent for selfness is us as it is flowers.

        pleasure & all mine...

      • dusk arising

As i matured I began to see this in older folk and still do. I wonder if its visible in me?

        • Fay Slimm.

I sincerely hope so dear friend -- we all need to stand still and receive our birthright of Selfness.

We are all truly one and connected to everything.

Flowers are living organisms, and source of so much pleasure - sight, taste, touch and smell and sound that we humans can't hear.
            Fragrant write indeed

            • Fay Slimm.

So true Suresh that nature has so much to teach about selfness - thank you for this perceptive comment.

A fine write Fay. I might talk to trees and flowers, but me feeling sorry for lamp-posts at night is going too far. I need another one of me pills! lol.
I shall be bringing the lamp-post indoors next, and tucking it up in bed. See the men in white coats arriving...…! I'm in a poor state!

              • Fay Slimm.

Talk to whatever in nature appeals my friend - we can learn much from trees and flowers.

                Upright and sappy
                And unassuming
                flowers are happy
                They’re always blooming.

                • Fay Slimm.

Too true they are happy things those bloomin' flowers - hope we as humans learn soon how to emulate nature's good traits.

That calmness can come over us all if we look at the flowers.

                  • Fay Slimm.

So true and thank you for your supportive comment on how to take in the calmness of flowers my friend.
