Young of Age.

Goldfinch60

Who was that!

This young blonde haired lady.

What was she doing here,

Here at the Jazz club.

Never seen anybody that young

Sitting in the audience,

She must have lowered the average age,

The average age of the audience,

Lowered the average,

By about three days.

    You know Andy
I am always impressed by the youth and their appreciation for ALL types of music and arts
Much more open than people think what a choice they have mind you I often wish I were discovering my musical hero's all over again... Imagine just coming across Bob Dylan's Blonde on Blonde in a record shop all over again

    Great write
"Old fogies in the Jazz club"
    Pioneers I like to think

Thanks Andrew (great name). Yes I feel the same when I go around the Ashmolean Museum there are many young people looking at the artworks, not just seeing them. Our youth can surprise us in a wonderful way.
At the Jazz club I go to once a month soem of the bands are just youngsters as well and they really know what they are doing. Look up "Old Hat Jazz Band" on YouTube
https://youtu.be/irSNmHPHHCE They have been to the Club a couple of times now and they are brilliant.

Good write Gold. Any fogies in 1066?
Anything on 1066 in the Ashmolean? I forget. Not visited that many times.

No old fogies except for you and I.

Youngsters never cease to amaze me - a friend called at my studio and her young son (7 years old) said he loved one of my abstracts so I got it framed and gave it to him as a present. He then insisted without any prompting that he should give me a present in return. He went to get a box of small polished stones and gem rocks and insisted I chose one. I chose a small polished stone and his face lit up when he gave it to me. That little gift means so much to me and I'll always treasure it. What with Gnome Enid I'm starting quite a collection of bits and pieces. Fine write Andy.

Youngsters are amazing, when we are up the Coffee Bar many young children are brought there and we delight in what they do.
We have a young lad of two and a half next door to us and the thing that amazes my is the rapid increase in his vocabulary.

Leave it out. I bet she made you all feel ancient but wishing you were 30 years younger.
There's nothing wrong with admiring a young beauty. I recall a pal admiring a young lady and i remarked "really Nick, I'm surprised at you, i know your partner well and she is such a fine looking lady, how could you?" His reply has stayed with me "Listen mate, i drive a ford escort but it doesn't stop me admiring the lines of a Jaguar does it?"..... There's no answer to that is there?

I am ancient but I can still appreciate the beauty of music, art, words and beautiful people - and of course Aston Martins.

Thanks for sharing UNCLE ANDY ~ Almost 1am (FRIDAY) but I must catch up on my MPS Family ! LOVE NKCs voice liquid honey and an Ideal vehicle for this Lovely LOVE SONG. We are fortunate in our Church (Evangelical) that at our Sunday Morning Service we have Babes in Arms in a *Open Creche* so both parents can enjoy the whole servce & Sunday Morning Communion (once a Month) Amazingly since we agreed to that (our Church is a Democracy !) the BIA have been remarkably good & quiet ! The 3+ and onward go into graded Classes after the Childrens Talk & sometimes PUPPETS ~ Dont tell Orchi or FIDO will start barking & disrupt the Service ! We do have some TEENS mainly Young Ladies ~ different Nationalities ! Sometimes they bring a FRIEND ~ whose very Radience & TEEN Vibrancy makes it hard to concentrate (remember Im still in my PRIME !) on the Singing. The older TEENS stay in for the Sermon & Communion. Some Churches I visit to Preach are all 60+ so there are no sensual distractions although Spiritually they are all very BEAUTIFUL. Some TEEN GIRLS are just LIVING DOLLS ~ AMEN ! Thanks for sharing ~ what were all thinking !

Blessings & Peace for YOU & JOYCE
Love in the Spirit ANGELA & BRIAN 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
