IN TRANSCENDENCE
Beyond the lazy babbling weirs
by horizontal sunbeams thrown
the pointing fingered shadows reach
towards a land of gentle mist.
A land where vapours twilight cast
eclipsing past presentiment
from episodes of bygone days.
Ascending high in altitudes
above the ripple-spanning waves
to echoes of their soothing sounds
all indecision drifts away.
As thoughts that kindle unsought flames
their burning embers now extinct
in ash the symbols of despair.

Our sights can certainly transcend each other into the mystery of life.
Wonderful artwork Michael.
Thanks Andy
A fine write and pic M, away from the Hurley Berley of life. You met him/her - that Berley person?!
I've met Pearly Barley but not Hurley Berley
Four verses of considering... how am i gonna fix my motorbike - memories of halcyon days with pillion lovers - and the finale - a solution - scrap it!
Oh the exhilaration of sex in a sidecar
Does your last stanza mean a happy ending? In other words, all doubts are gone, burned up?
A dream land to aspire to - but not many reach it.
