I look up to the sky

Passed the clouds,

Passed the sky,

Into the heaven beyond.

The place where I came from,

The place where I will be,

As this brief span on earth

Is but the blink of an eye

In the life that I have lead,

The life that I am leading,

And the life I will lead.

As my journey of life

Continues in the light,

Continues in joy,

Continues in love,

Continues towards infinity,

All will be glorious.

    Excellent expression..... Why can't more of us be so enlightened?
    It's easy once you accept it, and everything becomes 'right' and beauty is in everything.

    Eugene ammons uses lots of echo effect on all his recordings i've noticed and some rather mundane sidemen in his 50's recordings, but some outstanding period pieces and great feel for blues and balads.

      I am playing Gene Ammons Prestige Collection 60 to 62 at the moment on Amazon Music and it sounds good to me.
