Arm and a leg

Poetic Dan

If a mistake cost you an arm and a leg, you can only make it one more time! because then you'll be an egg.

 

We all know raspberry ripples don't get help by the kings men

 

End up rolling down the lane, maybe baked into something

 

Sitting curdling away, where spiders come and play

 

Left out all alone, the lamb comes to take you home

 

A hill stood in our way, when we were up they'd say

 

When you go back down again, it is where you'll stay

 

This time don't forget, learn for your own rhymes

 

Or yolk end up paying for it, egg-en and again for all time

            Yes, it was the mistake at the petrol pump that make me think of the first lie. Then I could think of lots more lessons/mistakes if made.
