I wish to give you words you can fold
Kept in your pocket until you are old
Knowing the love in hand is never cold
Holding you tight wherever you go
Grounding a home deep within your bones
Ready to unfold and loneliness will be gone

- Comment from author about the poem: This is in thought of many I know at the moment that are giving light out even though their path is dark at the moment. When loved ones leave or we start to fade, the memories live on in unthinkable ways.

Great write
Dab Dan! Thank you very much my friend
Sorry Dan
More haste less speed
Ha I do it way to much my friend.
These modified words of an old but very popular song come to mind:-
"When you've walked through a storm, hold your head up high, and don't be afraid of the dark. At the end of the storm is a golden sky, and the sweet silver song of the lark"
That's you that is mate. And you sing it well. Keep on.
Brilliantly said on a stormy day like this!
Always appreciated and felt every word you used.
Thank you my friend
A fine write Dan.
Thank you for reading
Always appreciated
Fold and Keep
Well said
Always appreciated 😉
Those thoughts of light and words of wisdom are always within us Dan.
I see I missed the box on this one, but always here when I go back for inspiration!
They most certainly are my friend but easily found when in good company.
