Michael Edwards

Before we go to bed

she said we must be wed

but we didn’t have the time

for it had just gone half past nine.

That takes me back, half past nine was the time I had to get my girlfriend back to her parents - back in the days of my youth.

That artwork is so wonderful Michael. Thank you for posting it.

When you get that house just let me know - thankfully contraceptives are a necessity of the past at my age.

Ha! Trust a female to try entrapment at a time like that!

Great picture reminds me of the foggy view from my window as i peer over my bowl of porridge.

I think the art depicts the trap within the words.
Now in Vegas, this would have been possible, so don't go there.
Catchy bit of wisdom and a terrific piece of art. - Phil A.
