On top of my hill
I look down into my life,
I see all was good.
I look up to the future,
And see all is wonderful.

so well said and perfectly put... you inspire me my friend....
Thank you so much for your kind words Neville.
Good write Gold. That you on that horse?! We were on horses in 1066.
Well I was on a horse, you were just holding the reins of my horse when you pointed upwards.
Oh dear, so I was. If only I had not uttered that fateful line: 'Look up, Sire'. Why did I ask Harold to look up anyway?!
A super write and one of my favourite pieces of music to go with it from way back when - although in danger of being over-played on Classic FM these days
Thank you Michael, yes it certainly is a fine piece of music, not that often played on Radio 3 but that piece of music has always been in my life, it was one of my father's favourite pieces.
Andy,
A short and sweet tanka complemented by an extraordinary video!
After listening to my aunt crying with pain for a few hours, reading your delightful poem and listening to the musical video was heavenly! Thank you for sharing!
My love to Joyce and to you!
~Laura~
