Remembrance Recollections

Tune: Bullinger

('I am trusting thee, Lord Jesus')

*********

Meeting with you in Communion

Father, Spirit, Son

This Supper you instituted

By it we fed

For here gifts of your bread and wine

It a feast divine

For it be your body and blood

Cleansing flood

Your body broken for me, see

On the cross, the tree

And your blood shed for me, dying

Of you I sing

And from death to resurrection

You the living Son

All who come to you and believe

Life do receive

And there my forgiveness, I kneel

Before you, I will

By your grace now e'er you follow

More of you know

Help us keep in memory plain

'Til we once again

Gather at your table, us feed

Come meet our need

Good write Orchi but as you know my faith in the Christian church has gone so I will not be at that table.

    • orchidee

Thanks Gold. It can be for some that they attend the table, and find some spark re-ignited, etc. I hope and pray this may be so for you. It's good where there is Communion every week, or nearly every week. Fortunate to have it often. Some places just tack it on occasionally, as if it's a nuisance, I feel.

Good Evening ANGELA HERE ! Thanks UNCLE STEVE for sharing another GREAT HYMN ! *I am trusting Thee Lord Jesus* : Morning or Evening (Its 8am Friday here !). Sorry you didnt get more takers for your EUCHARIST ! In the Churches in NZ the Communion Services are the same as in SPAIN - THE UK and everywhere in the World (variations with DENOMINATION) : The Catholic Eucharists are identical in the Tridentine (Latin) Mass and very very similar in all languages. Wherever we are in the WORLD : Brian & I attend COMMUNION (even when we are not familiar with the Vernacular) and we are always made very very welcome ! We consider it is very important to *Celebrate the Lords Supper* at least once per week to keep us NEAR THE CROSS : AMEN. It was instituted in order that : when we do it : We focus on JESUS and his ATONEMENT on the CROSS. Please keep up the GOOD WORK of sharing JESUS on MPS every single DAY : AMEN
In BRIANS CHURCH (Evangelical) they have a Portable Communion Set and the Elders (and Decons) can take it out to *Shut Ins* Brian & I have been involved in this Ministry : It is very very humbling !

Blessing & Joy for YOU & FIDOMO !
Love in the Spirit ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡🧡 + 🧡
