Tune: Serenity
('Immortal love, for ever full')
James 3 v.13-18 part
*******
The wisdom from above is pure
And peaceable for sure
Gentle, and easy to intreat
Grows as productive wheat
'Tis full of mercy and good fruits
And follows good pursuits
It has no partiality
And no hypocrisy
And too the fruit of righteousness
is sown in peace no less
By them who make peace, blessed they be
Their hearts are loving, see
Tis wisdom it comes from above
The Lord does in His love
Grant it to those who ask him, seek
They be the humble, meek

tis certainly wise if we are talking fruits, to have your five a day.... N
Sounds like a good theme for a sermon. But don't start it 'Once upon a time....'
May that wisdom fill everyone with the Peace of the World.
Thanks Gold. Ain't no wisdom in me singing, but that can't be helped! lol.
Faith can certainly turn into wise ways of dealing with life's challenges Orchi - thank you for sharing the need for humility to see good results
Thanks Fay.
Well done Faith but a funny name for her son.
Erm yes, thanks Michael. lol. Wiz Dom Berles?
Is he a wizard?
Where is this above place then?
Heaven - presumably!
Oh orchidee... why presume?... is it because somebody else told you its there? Blind faith = never has it been proven..... Nothing wrong with asking these questions..... i asked them and was most disappointed with the wishy washy answers which were given to me. Wishy washy answers are ok and acceptable if you are afraid to seek the truth.
Welll, maybe 'presume' is the wrong word. How about 'knowing from within', in our conscience, or mind, or whatever we call it? Yes, call it 'blind faith' maybe, though Jesus says 'I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life'. Either He is, and I'm believing it (which I believe I am), or I've been barking up the wrong tree for years (which I don't believe I am).
Ask yourself ..who did he say it to? 'I am the way' etc.... it wasn't you was it.... so it was a bloke told you he said it.... and, probably as a child, you were indoctrinated. We were all gullible like that as children.... but thinking adults who ask questions???
He said it to His first disciples - and so to His followers, who if they are true, also seek to be His disciples. Well I started Sunday School at age 3. There have not been gaps since though.
So 'because someone said this was told to them and they wrote it down and someome else made a book out of it which someone else showed you' you believe it ! I wish my bank manager was as gullible as you.
Well we got wheat for the bread and fruits for jam, what else do we need....
Thanks Suresh. Erm a pork pie or three! Me favourite - sometimes! lol.
