Serenity, how shall I recount thee

By the silent breeze, that kissed my cheek
By the gentle waves, that lapped my feet
By the song of birds, if you please
By the flowers fragrance, Opps! I sneezed

By the yawning, of the dawning day
By those white clouds, floating by
By the veiling, of the setting sun
By the full moons night, so cool and dry

By the rolling fields, of golden wheat
By the autumn colors, of the leaves
By the vibrancy, of the poppy fields
By the majesty, of the redwood trees

By the ballet, of thousands in flight
By the dance, of a mating call
By the honeycomb, the bees create
By the rippling waters, of a meandering stream

By the coral reef, rich in colorful wonder
By the Northern Lights, awe and splendor
By the million ways, nature presents itself
By the younglings, innocence still intact

Thanks SURESH for sharing the SERENITY of NATURE ! We live inan increasingly Noisy World ! Traffic ~ Musak ~ Chit Chat ~ Phones ~ Aircraft etc etc ! When my NEICE arrived in MUMBAI to work as a Nurse for a Year she was initially alarmed at the level of Noise & Peaple & Hustle & Bustle but after a week got used to it ! She had a contact in GOA and used to go there for a week every THREE MONTHS for some peace & quiet and a chance to commune with Nature. I live in a TOWN (pop about 180 ,000) nearest CITIES 25 miles N ~ E & W so its pretty quiet. We love to get OUT & INTO the (relative) QUIETNESS of the Country ~ AMEN !

              Blessings & Quiet & Love
              Yours A & B XOXOX

                Suresh,

I enjoyed reading this wondrous poem in its entirety! The only thing I would add to this magnificent poem is to read it while Mr. O’s music ( “LIFE on IMPACT”) is playing in the background! An awesome experience!

Really appreciate your comments. I'm inept in IT matters, so even this much is great success, but I can envision your suggestion

Actually, I’ve just finished reading your poem...
                    again...
with Mr. O’s music playing in the background! It truly is amazing!

                    • Suresh

Would you like to recite it with the music and then post it, so I can share in your enjoyment as well.
I do thou appreciate your comments
