RAISINS ~ what japes ! Why dry GRAPES ?
FOREIGN BANGERS ? Awful tasteless DOPPELGANGERS !
CHICKEN (on the bone ?) Leave it alone !
RARE RED MEAT ? Reject it all Toute Suite
What will we eat in OCTOBER
Ven flirtung mit EUROPE ist alles ober ?

The great advantages of GLOBAL WARMING & BREXIT are !
1. We wont have to go to the COSTA DEL SOL for SUN
2. UK Wines are improving every year (already better than FRENCH !)
3. By 2030 we will be able to grow our own ORANGES & LEMONS
4. The import of EUROPEAN SAUSAGE will be banned by BORIS
5. The import of hard & smelly European Cheeses ~ hounded by HUNT
6. The UK GOVERNMENT will issue a copy of MRS BEETON to everyone !
7. ALE will be served at ambient temperature in Glass Jars with Handles
8. No more PEANUTS ~ replaced by free WALKERS CRISPS ~ AMEN !
9. All PEAS will be MUSHY after BREXIT
10. All BEERS ~ WINES & SPIRIT ~ BRITISH ~ LAGER will be BANNED !

Thanks ANDREW ! My Grandad tells ME the UK was self sufficient in WW2 ~ so we could be self sufficient again ! With Climate Change (getting hotter) we will be able to make our own WINE % grow Citrus. The JOBS ANGELA & I do will always be in demand (PHYSIOTHERAPY & SCIENCE / TECNOLOGY Teaching) We may all have to tighten our belts a bit and pay more for Health Services but we should survive. There are many PRO & CONS We just tried (tongue in cheek) to amplify some of the PROS ~ OK

Thanks UNCLE STEVE ~ pleased you enjoyed ! Walkers Crisps come in many FLAVOURS ~ including salt free ! I (BRIAN) dont like PEANUTS in open dishes in PUBS ! Too hard ~ too tasteless and too handled (think about it !)

And so on and on - you know where I am coming from, but it doesn't have to lead to losing ones own identity.
A very interesting write!! I would so love to try some British food. An authentic Banger lol. But no, an authentic British meal!!
THANKS CHRIS ~ Pleased you enjoyed the presentation ! A typical F amily Sunday Lunch would be
Slices of well cooked Beef with Roast & Mashed Potatoes ~ Cauliflower ~ Carrots & Peas ~ Yorkshire Pudding and lots of thick BISTO GRAVEY ! There would be a choice of BEER or FRUIT JUICE (Wine on a special occasion !) PUDDING would be SPONGE PUDDING with Apple or Blackberries etc and lots of Custard. This could be followed by CHEESE & BISCUITS and a choice of Tea or Coffee ! We do eat lots of Savoury Pies ~ Steak & Kidney ~ Mince Beef & Onion ~ Chicken & Mushroom etc served with BIG CHIPS and mushy Peas ! Fish & Chips are another tradition. Sunday Lunch is always served formally in the *Dining Room* at about 1:30 pm ~ A British Tradition and the TV & Radio ~ OFF !

Don't ever put olives in front of me as I will eat them all and leave none for anybody else. As to the other hates they do not exist, I have eaten and will hopefully continue to eat them all.
