Chaos Theory

Chaos Theory

Tick

A butterfly

Gently closes

Its wings

And alights

On a previously discarded

Match stick

Somewhere in the Indian Ocean

Tock

A thousand

Children die

Crops fail again

Another drought

And fifty million square acres

Of rain forest are lost to us each year

Tick

Mutant virus

Escapes from lab

Another Policeman stabbed

Tobacco kills but politicians kill even more

A powerful way to describe time's indifferent effects as it ticks away - a compelling outcry against human blindness to planet-abuse and thank you for wording the need so poetically Nev. - - - a meaningful write..................... Fay

A compelling way to describe man's total disrespect for the planet - and a fine write it is.

we can tock about it until we are blue in the face, but we each need to do so much more if there is to be a green future for our children's children I fear..... thank you Michael

This morning we bought some loose potatoes at the supermarket. We didn't put them in a plastic bag provided but transferred then to the basket then to the conveyor belt where the poor assistant had to gather them together to weigh them. Why aren't paper bags provided?

            The RIPPLE EFFECT.
We know the consequences, yet, we choose to remain, ignorant and illiterate
            .
We surrender our responsibilities to others, like politicians, and the defenders become the aggressors - ironic!

            CHAOS, once enacted,natives its toll.

            Engaging subject, thnx

How are you N? I'm feeling decidedly queasy, but that's cos I just tuned into 'Lorraine' on telly. Call the men in white coats if I watch it the whole week. I shall be insane with boredom!
Don't torture yourself - don't tune in to it! You'll end up a jibbering wreck, as I might do. lol.

                • Neville

Never watch telly in the mane... but thanks for the tip..
