The anger that is reeling from my teenager
is more than I am due to receive
Otherwise a loving person of God
the thought is quick to relieve
The walking on eggshells is over
I decide as I glide to his room
I knock and wonder how long this can last
As I fully expect a teen full of gloom
Today is a better day because we're getting help
My nerves and my heart can't take much more
Driving hours to find someone to talk to
Sitting so long just to pour my heart and implore
Always sticks to his guns but generally happy
now stays in his room and dependent on me
Here in this place of the help I had asked for
he'll stay several days until he gets healthy

Teenage years can be so fraught - but they come out of it. Fine write about a difficult period.
Thank you so much. Appreciate the comment!
A difficult time Christina but I am sure you will be Ok and in time he will thank you and love you for being there for him.
Oh I sure hope so Andy! Thanks as always for the comment.
ANGELA HERE : Thanks for sharing this CHRISTINA : but it hasnt put me off being a MUM ! Brian has much more experience with TEENS than me. Half of His Students are 16 to 20 and some from dificult backgrounds : He is a good listener. I help BRIAN with the teens club 12 to 18 at Church but most of them are from stable & loving backgrounds as your Two are ! TEEN mood swings are difficult to deal with and more difficult to understand ! The majority of my CLIENTS for PHYSIO are in the 20 to 70 age group so they dont have tantrums. I do get some TEENS with Sports Injuries ! They are very frustrated but also very Cooperative because they want to get fit again asap ! We are both praying for you 24/7 that the Lord will lift all your BURDENS and let you get back to the JOB you love once again : AMEN

No, and it shouldn't put you off being a mum. The rewards far outweigh the downsides. Just happen to be going uphill at the moment. Thanks for the comment, it is appreciated!! Thanks for the prayers too. Christina
Felt your angst. My son is now 33 and a fine man, but raising him as a single parent was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. All you can do is be patient and try to nudge things along. Hang tough!
Thank you so much for your encouragement!! Things are going better, thank you!!
