Tomorrow Lost
Let us raise
Our glasses
To all those
Times
When dreams
Were not enough
To all those
Hurts
We hide behind
And the time
Your smile
Turned
Upside down
When our
Beloved blues
Assumed
The shade of
Absent bruise
The smallness of
Another day
Yes let’s drink
To all
Tomorrows lost
And moments shed
Like reptile skins
Along the way
Now long forgot

very poetic way to describe moving on my friend - - tomorrows are not for re-living regrets of the past - encouraging thoughts and thank you muchly for sharing them............... Fay
You are most welcome my friend & I.... in turn do thank you muchly for pausing and perusing these words of mine and the encouragement you always afford me...... Neville
What a memorable recitation.
I cannot seem to come out of a dream state, or maybe I just love being there, letting all the tomorrows be lost
Whatever the case, I am grateful for your visit & true....

Neville,
A wonderful write that evokes many memories...whether lost or perhaps just dormant! ‘Tis our choice to hang on to them or to let them go and move on!
Thank you for sharing!
~Laura~
Sharing is such a pleasure dear Laura...
and I subsequently thank you for your impression and opinion of these words.
