Mindful Ministry

orchidee

Tune: Christchurch

('Now is eternal life')

John 16 v.12 - 15

********

When He, the Spirit true

Is come, e'en unto you

He will in all truth guide

And in your heart reside

There ne'er to leave, a companion

Inhabits believers, each one

For He shall not of self

Speak, but of the Son's wealth

Which is the Father's [wealth] too

He shall speak unto you

And things to come He will you show

God's plan and will you sure shall know

The Spirit glorifies

The Son, with no denies

He receives of the Son

Once started, once begun

He continues, the truth we gain

Through His ministry clear and plain

Spirit to us reveal

Things of God, comfort, heal

All that the Father's be

Are also the Son's see

And the Spirit takes of the Son

To show us everything, bar none

I don't mean the title to imply 'mindfulness' - not any spooky kind of 'emptying the mind' anyway!
