Tune: Heinlein
('40 days and 40 nights')
Psalm 119 v.105-112
********
Your word is a lamp unto
My feet, the way forth I view
And to my path it a light
Will guide me with your insight
I have sworn, and will perform
And will keep through calm and storm
Your righteous judgements though i
Am afflicted, to you cry
Revive me, LORD, according
To your word, and I will sing
Melodies unto you sweet
Bring them humbly to your feet
Accept, LORD, I beseech you
My offerings here anew
From my mouth, I speak and sing
And unto you do them bring
O LORD, teach me your judgements
I do need your wisdom, sense
My life is in danger here
Come to me, to me appear
Yet I not forget your law
It is my rejoicing sure
The wicked traps for me laid
Yet I strayed not, not dismayed
Your testimonies have I
Taken as heritage, nigh
They be to me, and they be
The joy of my heart, true, free
I have too my heart inclined
Unto you, your ways to find
And to perform your statutes
To the end, with no refutes

Thanks B&A. Fido helps me when I get words confused. Eulogy - related to Yule? Is it Christmas?!
There is something special about a Lenten theme, particularly when read by Lantern Light... N
Thanks N. You got your lantern out?
I have just been fitting my new anti mosquito bulbs ready for this evening....
May your Lord, hold you close and grant you what you scribe
