BRIDGES ! Human engineering make
To overcome an obstacle ~ such as Ravine
A River ~ Rail track or a Lake
To get you to the other side ~ they*re in between !

A PANTOUM is a Classical Poetic structure which uses REPETITION.
In VERSE TWO the SECOND & FOURTH lines of VERSE ONE become
the FIRST & THIRD lines of VERSE TWO. This pattern repeats until
You decide to finish the POEM ! In the FINAL VERSE lines ONE &
THREE are lines TWO & FOUR from the PENULTIMATE VERSE ~ OK
However LINE TWO is the THIRD VERSE from VERSE ONE and LINE
FOUR is LINE ONE from VERSE ONE ~ OK. This devious ploy ensures
ALL lines are repeated once and that the PANTOUM (always written
in QUATRAINS) begins & ends ~ With the same LINE ~ A & B 🧡💙🧡

A fine write B&A. Oohh I'm all jittery with some bridges if I can see the water or ground beneath. I don't even like downwards escalators. I feel I will fall.
Some (bricks and mortar) bridges I do not cross even when I have got to them. I do long detours. Doh!

THANKS UNCLE MIKE ~ Pleased you enjoyed it. I like repetition in Poetry and Pantoums are relativelly easy to control ! I changed from ACTUAL BRIDGES to Personal ones half way through ~ but it read and ended well ~ even where we had to refer back to VERSE ONE !

BRIAN is at Work so I am posting our Poem on WATERFALLS ideal subject for your Weather : BRIAN tells me it will reach 100F in the South east this week ! Its the middle of Winter in NZ but a cool 14C = 57F here ! We all need to REACH OUT to People and they will reach our to US and form a BRIDGE of LOVE. In my JOB I am a BRIDGE to painlessness and increased MOBILITY and BRIAN is a BRIDGE to increased knowledge & understanding of their chosen PROFESSION. We both try to make the World a better place ! As you do with your SINGING and beiing a BRIDGE (24/7 SUPPORT) for your Beloved Wife JOYCE. We all *PLAY BRIDGE !* BRIAN & I sang BOTW when we formed a CHOIR on a Meditteranian Cruise : AWESOME !
