distant memories
easy to recall
fleeting thoughts
of taking the fall
long ago, yet
like yesterday
still brilliant
not black or gray
holding on tight
to feelings and memories
and to the electricity
coursing through me
I remember when
just your touch
was my drug
need it so much

- Comment from author about the poem: This is a totally new format for me. I tried using two or three words per line (obviously missed my own mark on several LOL). Anyway, I was just trying to think outside the box. :-)

LOL...sometimes I try to challenge myself and it works, sometimes it doesn't. My favorite is good old fashioned rhyming poetry. Glad you liked this....Christina

More drama here, more punch.... in the delivery here for you today. I'm pleased you are adventurous and exploring ways to express your poetry. This works. I hope you're pleased with the reception. No rules, just do what comes to you on the occasion.
