I Met Aphrodite

PoeticBiscuit

I met Aphrodite today,

She was working at the coffee shop,

As soon as she looked my way,

I felt like my heart had stopped,

It exploded like it was shot with a bazooka,

Those golden brown eyes turned me to stone like I seen Medusa,

I read all the stories and I knew all the myths,

That she could have you falling for her with just a simple glimpse,

But I’d have to say the stories didn’t do her justice,

Too bad she had a boy friend whose name was Hephaestus.

Don't upset Hephaestus, Medusa may only turn you to stone, he will cut you into pieces.
    Good fun write.

I wouldn’t want to make Hephaestus mad, he’d probably put an end to me! Thank you for reading though and I’m glad you enjoyed it!
