A speck

Poetic Dan

I grew up as a speck on a little bit of land, soon to be told others need a hand.

They live in a 3rd world and I live in the 1st, people are starving and dieing of thirst

Donations and giving is the on going plan but we all know it's all about resources and keeping a balance.

I didn't ask to be classed like I have it better, we fight corruption while others fighting occupation. We are hit with indoctrination and while others beg for information.

For only if I'd been born a king, but yet some how I feel the right to be him. The land under my feet I hold with peace, the words on my tongue have on lies within it.

In this time those who have the power to enable the peoples of the world will not do it in case they lose some of there wealth and power. Those that want to do something about like many of us without the means cannot do it although we try to do our best.
The world can be fixed but it is more profitable for those in power to leave it broken . (Sorry Dan, rant over.)

Always appreciated my friend, I'm on the wave with you.
But it is a new day and I know all will change if we teach our young, no violence, no war or gun.
If with raise them in understanding and love

Always, that is my job 🙂

your first two lines are filled with truth.. if more folk opened their eyes and could see this, maybe some things might change.. we can only hope and do our own bit... but there is much wisdom in what Goldfinch60 has shared here also today........ N

We may teach OUR children of love, peace and tolerance but.... what chance do they have of changing the world when religions teach hate, violence and intolerance.

          • Poetic Dan

They say there is over 4 thousand different religions now, so I think we are slowly breaking the mold.
We are a young species and this word "religion" and "royalty", will soon be like drawings on a cave wall.
We are many, we just have to keep speaking and teaching.

Today there was a line in a song that I love "I pay homage to the youth, as their's truth in their view"

Obviously it's about reading between the lines but I believe in taking my own stance and I'm lucky to have a lady that will not stop me from refusing to comply with our government or teaching of others faith.

I have no answer but I had no choice is not one any more.
            (hope that reads okay)

All we can do is lead by example - if only the values were universally held. Fine work Dan.

I'm sure they soon will, more of a reply in DA comment as I read all your comments before writing that.
Probably why it went on lol

              Always appreciated

              A poetic reality

After thousands of years, we still have despots and tyrants ruling nations.
While events caused by nature can be overcome, those caused by man are impossible

I hear that my friend and think in answering to DA, I was chatting to you too. The Pendulum is slowly moving, or is the scales balancing after all these thousands of years... Imagine how many days that is, or hours, (boom)

                Always appreciated my friend

Sometimes all we can do is do the best we can with what we have. If everyone could learn to have compassion and respect for their fellow human beings the world would be better off. If only more people had a mind like yourself, keep writing my friend.
