Tune: Penlan
('In heavenly love abiding')
***********
Leave, leave us not, abide still
With us, show us your will
Looking to you we shall live
Salvation you us give
You the vine, we the branches
Without you profitless
Shall be human endeavours
But you strengthen us, bless
Your light to keep, to guide us
Your words true, we confess
And here resides in hearts pure
Your Spirit evermore
Guard us through all life's journey
Help us your paths to see
Give wisdom, grace, all we need
Your sheep you us do feed
Your love still us to inspire
And flame of holy fire
Producing acts of faith here
May your glory appear
In sharing gospel message
Your word, its every page
Written, the hope eternal
For all who on you call

for those who live in shadows blindly... light may shine and set them free................ I dont have a clue.. but those words just came out of no where.....
Something prophetic there in those words N. An inspiring!
maybe...
Sounds like a prophetic tone. Sometimes we might say things. Not in the sense of 'I dunno what I'm talking about' though. I met some Hare Krishna (HK) folk in town. I didn't think until afterwards 'But does this (HK) have any effect on your heart-relationship with Christ?' In a book they gave me, the answer to my question is 'No', as they see Christ as just another 'Lord', but they don't follow Him, just have a nominal belief in Him.
there are lots of prophets. always have been and maybe always will be... whether they are any good.. well we shall have to wait and see...... some are certainly better and or more popular than others..... N
I see the definition of 'prophet' as 'one who speaks God's (or 'god's) message for now or for the future'. That light bulb lit up in your head, saying 'IDEA'!
I see the term prophet as anyone who foretells the future or who makes forecasts and or predicts the future.. but I do also understand where you are coming from...
Not to sound bigoted, but Biblical prophecy always comes to pass - I believe! I'm not into spooky 'fortune-tellers' though.

Thanks M.
Blind faith is poison, for it has and is the cause of many lives, so let it be enlightenment that is received.
Thanks Suresh. I may mean 'blind faith' in that I may not question many things very much.
Good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold.
