I lie here thinking about you
Like I always am
Pain blurring my vision
Ringing in my ears
Piercing my head
I’m so in love with you
And I’m so heartbroken
I miss you so much
The way I long for you, a longing I’ve never known before
I need you
I need your kind words and your healing touch
And I need to give you mine
But you can’t
And I can’t
And nothing has ever hurt me more
I need peace
I want to jump off a height
Find solace and mercy in the concrete
Endless peace
No need to wake up in pain anymore
The only thing stopping me
Is you
Because if I ever get to have you
If we ever find each other again
And allow love to weave our hearts together
Then all this suffering
Will have been worth it
Every tear
Every heart clench
Every gasp for air
You’re worth a lifetime of it

- Comment from author about the poem: First of all, this has suicidal themes and ideation just in case that’s triggering for anyone. I don’t know if I’d call this a poem because it’s kind of just a journal entry about my average daily thought process. I’d usually hope for people to connect with my writing, but I don’t wish this kind of pain on anyone, so I guess I just hope it makes you feel something.

You transfer feelings to words well which is going to make you a great poet.
Whilst you are going thru this pain try to read other poets on here and leave a few words.
I find others work inspiring. Like my last one about the scent of her. Inspired by a poem of the same day by Neville on here.

Very emotive write and very well written.
It is obviously hard for you but as dusk arising says there are poets on here that can help you with their words.
In your life there must be something that lightens it somewhere, look to that light and your mind will become stronger.
The only light I can seem to find in my life is in that one person I’m in love with. It hurts to look at it. I do try to find peace in other people’s writing when I can 😊 any moment of peace in this time is such a blessing. Thank you so much for the comment 💕
