Try...

Andrew Charles Forrest

Try

Saturday morning

The dogs are awake

Feed them, and read them

Some William Blake

Out to the garden

to do, what they do

Oh why. won't they try,

To just use the loo!

Bag in my hand

get it up 'for the storm

When it's cold, if not old...

Then at least, it's still warm

Yet another smile in tow poms, it must be a fun day.

You paint a great picture - and have given me a big smile - thankfully us humans have learnt to use the loo - now there's another idea for a poem.

    Oh lol, good write Andrew.
They'll go nutty if they hear too much William Blake though - somewhat eccentric. Can you understand the words of 'Jerusalem?' Who can?!

Ha ha - I can relate to these well-rhymed lines Andrew - - dog lovers like us have bag in hand every day whatever the weather. A smile of a read and thank you.

Ha ha ha, dogs.. i love them.... but i'd be happy if they would learn to shut doors behind them.

Precisely... mine refused to even stick her nose out the door.. Mind we are experiencing a near hurricane here....
