Making time to help
Others without
Demanding any reward
Ever conscious to
See the good in others
That they may go forward
Yearning for the good in us all.

Excellent Andy have a great weekend
Thank you Andrew, have a great weekend yourself.
Great stuff Andy - if only everyone was as modest as me!!
Thank you Michael. I feel the same.
An excellent write Andy!! Acrostics can be difficult to write....great job! Christina
Thank you Christina, so kind. Andy.
Good write Gold.
I read a similar story.
Woman says to Minister: 'I haven't sinned for some time now'.
Minister: 'You must feel very proud of that'.
Woman: 'Oh yes I do!'(And so she sins in her immodest sort of pride. Doh!).
Not the pride of genuine appreciation, etc.
Thanks Orchi, the Minister obviously new how to trick her.
A good and needed acrostic on a rare word in these days of me-first. Thank you Andy.
Thank you Fay, modesty seems to be disappearing from our world.
You define goodwill to mankind (and animals) here and modesty rules it all.
Thank you d a, goodwill to mankind and animals is well worth the pleasure that can be gained from the results.
Hello Goldfinch60,
What a wonderful write.
You've captured the beauty of Modesty a beautiful quality in itself in a person.
Keep writing
