But Not Yet.

Goldfinch60

I look into the night sky

And there above me

Shines a three quarter moon,

Its beautiful light

Shining upon me,

Saying all is right in my life.

My loved one is safe,

I am relaxed as I go forward,

Forward into my new life.

My love is still there,

But that love is endorsed

Knowing she is in a good place

Being cared for by wonderful people.

Now I can live my life again,

The words of joy flow from me,

Flow from my mouth,

Flow onto the page.

I look passed the moon

Into the Universe,

Knowing that I am just a speck

Within its vast glory.

But I am here,

I know who I am

And I will go on,

Go on into the Universe,

When My Spirit takes me,

Takes me into it.

But not yet.

    Good write Gold.
Pity it was a new moon (all black, not seen) in 1066 on that day at Hastings. I should have known - it would have saved me mucking everything up! heehee.

Thank you for letting us readers into your very deep feelings when walking with nature dear Andy - the moon resurrects so much mystery for us to contemplate when we are alone and you write it so well.

        • Goldfinch60

Thank you Fay, the moon can be so meaningful to us all.

The elements humble us into our deepest thoughts when we observe them alone.
Unanswered questions abound but within you i know resides the faith that life remains wholesome and your spirit will endure all.

Tomorrrow i will publish something i wrote using a quite different style borrowed from some of the great writers. I had for gotten about it being a nineties piece but on reading it i immediately thought of you and your beliefs which are similar to mine. Please don't miss it.

Thank you Christine. Yes it is so good now that I know Joyce is in a safe place, of course I miss her but I am so much more relaxed now not having to care for her 24/7.
