Psalm 1 parts

Blessed be they that do walk not

In the ungodly's lot

Nor follow in their wicked ways

But seek the Lord their days

Nor stand in the way of sinners

Heart not to them bestirs

Nor sits in the seat of scornful

But they hear the Lord's call

 

Enter not path of the wicked

In their way not be led

Go not in the way of evil

It profits none at all

But blessed be they whose delight

Is the Lord's law and light

In His law they meditate

Day, night, early, and late

 

Ponder His word, and talk to self

So find your soul's true wealth

Such ones are as trees planted

Beside the river-bed

By rivers of water, channels

On good and fertile soils 

They shall bring forth their fruit sure

In seasons evermore

 

Their leaves shall not wither, they

Commune, and watch and pray

Whatsoever they set to do

It shall prosper anew

For the Lord knows the righteous

Their way, by grace [He knows] e'en us

But ungodly's way it shall

Perish and do not well
