Tune: Old 100th
('All people that on earth do dwell')
Psalm 62 v.5-8
************
My soul, wait upon God only
Wait His good time, and you shall see
It shall be well, my hope shall be
In Him, I trust expectantly
He only is my rock, stronghold
And my salvation, in His fold
By His grace I shall there abide
All to Him, heart, mind, life confide
He is my defence, I not be
Moved, shaken, but remain firmly
Trusting in Him, my God for e'er
His promise to forsake me ne'er
He my salvation, my glory
The rock of my strength constantly
My refuge is in Him, secure
Assured I be in Him e'ermore
Trust in Him at all times, people
Pour out hearts to Him, on Him call
He be a refuge, Rock ageless
His thoughts toward us numberless

Good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold. I hope folk find this true, from a section on meditative type Psalms - seems to be that theme in 61, 62, and 63.
A message for all times not just the dark times... Thanks Orchi
Thanks Andrew.
We all need a refuge...
One day, I might just post my Dokun for you to have a look at..... Neville
Thanks N.
The surest refuge and described with deep faith - -thank you Orchi.
Thanks Fay.
Nice one O.
Thanks M. You know Rocky Berles?!
No - only Rub Berles - he's a broken man.
Has he fallen to pieces?! Is he all in a heap?!
Yes next to the compost heap where lieth Composta Berles.
Ahh, I see! I'm playing Bingo here, with Psalm numbers, and metres in 6, 7, 8's, or whatever! Cilla Berles helps me count the syllables.
Hello Orchidee,
A good and powerful write and so true.
Keep writing
