FRUSTRATION

FineB

Frustration,

RIding on the London Underground with people driving you insane,

Undergoing another work restructure time and time again.

Sadly seeing wrinkles and lines on your face,

The never ending challenge of survival in the rat race.

Regretting the past and bad decisions made,

Always at the lower end of career development in jobs so badly paid.

Torrential downpour - the short lived summer has ended so soon,

am irritated that I never saw The Who live with the legendary Keith Moon,

On the journey of my life the destination is often  unclear,

Never should I let my frustration get the better of me in my life - never fear

Thanks FRIEND ~ Loved the Poem ! Life today all over the World - London (UK) or Auckland (NZ) is full of petty FRUSTATIONS ! Our poetic MANTRA is *When in doubt write an ACROSTIC* ! Which ~ in our experience ~ is the least frustrating POETIC FORM !

        1. The number of lines is dictated
        2. It doesn*t have to RHYME (yours does)
        3. It doesn*t have to scan (free verse)
        4. The end product always looks *classic*
        5. An ACROSTIC is (by its very nature) ~
        Complete & Satisfying

        Blessings & Peace & Joy

I never (or very rarely) look back and know not frustration - mine is more indifferent acceptance. But heigh - this a fine work from your fine pen.

Good acrostic. We all get those days, I had a similar day yesterday while driving, all the idiots were on the road!

              Hi Goldfinch60,

              Many thanks.

Travelling on the tube is one thing I dont if I could drive on the roads with chaos and some drivers! You are brave.

Felt that outburst against things that go wonky at times in our life - - dunno how I would cope for more an hour with London Underground chaos so hats off to your closing line -- better to let out built-up steam to keep things in perspective and hope this write has done that for now Fine B

                  • FineB

                    Hi Fay,

Yes you could say that this write has.been am effective channel to let out steam about being frustrated and to put it into perspective.

After all life is for living and to be enjoyed.

                    Many thanks
